Cory Dickerson, Broker
After graduating from Georgia State University in 2013, I was very interested in getting my real estate license so that I could sell my first home as well as continuing to buy rental properties. After getting licensed, the greatest adventure of my life began. I found my passion lurking behind what society deemed was success by being able to work for myself as an entrepreneur and develop what is now the beginning of this brand-new company. For my first 6 years, I worked for a local brokerage and sold over 115 homes in that short time. Not only was I busy at what I was doing, I LOVED it. In October of 2018 I prepared to get my broker’s License and passed the state test on the first attempt. Fast forward to July of 2019 when I purchased a 1940’s brick ranch in the heart of my hometown, McDonough. It was the first day on the market when I saw it and knew it was a perfect match for my new real estate office. The next 6 months were spent getting the home rezoned to commercial and made into an office.
Hometown Realty started in January 2020. The foundation of my new company is my passion to serve my clients at the best of my ability and attention to detail. I soon realized that I didn’t know all of the answers when it comes to a new business, but I have the drive to figure it out. The greatest part is getting to share this growing experience with some great new agents with the same determination not only to succeed but to provide the best service to our clients. Today, I own 14 rental properties and have learned so much information to help anyone from first-time homebuyers to seasoned investors. We know there are a ton of great real estate companies to choose from, but we hope to earn your business and make Hometown Realty your home for all of your Real Estate needs.
